The vision for the Morpho interface is to function as an explorer of the Morpho protocol, offering a comprehensive yet unopinionated way to analyze and interact with Morpho contracts.

One Interface Does Not Fit All​

Interfaces for Each Persona​

Morpho (formerly known as Morpho Blue) allows users to choose markets and risk parameters, accommodating various risk-reward appetites and user personas. The Morpho Interface serves as a neutral front-end, similar to Etherscan for Ethereum, making Morpho contracts readable and accessible.

The Morpho Interface is a Network Explorer​

Neutral​

The Morpho Interface provides an unopinionated platform for lending and borrowing without bias. It will natively display all deployed markets that are whitelisted into Morpho Vaults (formerly known as MetaMorpho), presenting relevant data and trust signals to assist users.

  • Note also that any market pages will be accessible for any market if accessed with a direct link, except for some markets due to legal constraints.
  • The same applies to vault pages.
  • If one accesses a page of a vault/market that is not whitelisted, one will have a red warning.

About users' position:

  • All positions taken on Morpho & Morpho Vaults, through the interface or not, will be listed in the positions table.
  • If one has a position in a market that is not whitelisted, a red warning will be displayed in the table.

Accessible & Auditable​

  • Auditable: Fully open-source (GPL3) with open-source (MIT) SDKs for building specialized apps.
  • IPFS and Self-Hosting: Accessible on IPFS and available for download and self-hosting.
  • Understandable: Aims to be easily understandable without making opinionated choices.
  • Usable: Allows any user to interact with all of Morpho’s smart contract capacities.
  • Resilient: Aims to minimize security and liveness assumptions.

Non-Profit​

The Morpho Interface is non-profit, ensuring long-term alignment with users and leaving space for others to build profitable products on top of Morpho.
