Morpho Governance

How Morpho governance works: what MORPHO token-holders control, how proposals are discussed and voted on, and how approved actions are executed.

This section explains what MORPHO token-holders can decide, how a proposal moves from discussion to execution, and how the MORPHO token and delegation work. Governance powers include controlling the MORPHO tokens in the governance treasury, activating the fee switch, and whitelisting new LLTVs and IRMs.

How decisions are made

  1. Discussion: governance discussions happen on the Morpho governance forum and can lead to proposals.
  2. Vote: MORPHO token-holders vote on Snapshot at snapshot.org/morpho.eth. An address's voting power is its own MORPHO balance plus any MORPHO delegated to it, unless it has delegated its own balance to another address (see Delegate your MORPHO).
  3. Execution: once a proposal is approved, the 5/9 governance multisig implements it.
