Morpho aims to provide a fully enhanced experience for lending.
The protocol offers better rates while preserving the same liquidity and liquidation parameters. Yet, this requires adding an extra layer of smart contracts and thus an additional smart contract risk.
This may be considered one of the only tradeoffs for not moving to a Morpho protocol. The Morpho DAO is well aware of this; this is why the protocol has been audited numerous times by the best audit firms in the world.
